This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit WealthStack, subscribe to our emails, or use our tools. It applies to all visitors, including those in the U.S., EU/EEA, UK, and other regions.
1) What we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Contact details (e.g., name, email) when you subscribe, contact us, or download resources.
- Content submissions (e.g., comments, messages, survey responses).
- Calculator inputs (numbers you enter into tools). These are processed to generate results; we do not add them to marketing lists unless you choose to save or email results.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data (pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps).
- Device/technical data (IP address, browser type, OS, screen size).
- Cookies & similar tech (pixels, local storage) for analytics, performance, preferences, and (if enabled) advertising/affiliate attribution. See Section 8 (Cookies).
1.3 Information from third parties
- Email platforms (subscription status, opens/clicks).
- Analytics providers (aggregated behavior metrics).
- Affiliate/sponsor partners (conversion attribution in aggregate—no banking or SSN data).
- Social platforms if you interact with our pages or share content.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (e.g., SSN, health, precise geolocation). Please do not send such data to us.
2) How we use your information
We use information to:
- Provide and improve the site, content, and tools/calculators.
- Send newsletters and updates you request (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- Understand audience interests (analytics, A/B tests, performance).
- Maintain security, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with law.
- Manage affiliate/sponsor disclosures & attribution (see our Disclosures page).

We share information with:

- Affiliate/sponsor/advertising partners for attribution and compliance, where applicable.
- Professional advisors and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Successors in a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some U.S. state laws treat certain advertising/analytics as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; see Section 10 for your choices.
4) Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
- Email subscriber data: until you unsubscribe or after reasonable inactivity.
- Contact form inquiries: typically 24 months.
- Analytics data: per provider defaults/controls (often 14–26 months).
- Legal/backup logs: as required to comply with law and maintain security.
We periodically anonymize or delete data when no longer required.
5) Security
We use technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use strong, unique passwords for any accounts associated with your email.
6) Children’s privacy
WealthStack is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us and we will delete it. If you are under 18, use the site only with a parent/guardian.
7) Your choices
- Email: click Unsubscribe in any message or email us at privacy@wealthstack.us.
- Cookies: manage preferences via our Cookie Settings banner or your browser (see Section 8).
- Do Not Track: we currently do not respond to DNT signals (industry standard is evolving).
- Calculator data: use tools without saving; if you opt to email results, that email is handled by our email provider.
8) Cookies & similar technologies
We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies (site security, basic functions).
- Performance/analytics (e.g., page views, load times).
- Preferences (remembering settings).
- Advertising/affiliate (if enabled) to attribute referrals and measure campaigns.
You can:
- Use our Cookie Settings to accept/reject non-essential cookies.
- Control cookies via your browser (blocking may affect functionality).
- Opt out of certain third-party analytics/ads via their tools where offered.
9) International transfers
We’re U.S.-based. If you are outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers.

- Limit use of sensitive data: We do not use sensitive data for inferring characteristics.
- Appeals: If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email.
10.2 California disclosures (CPRA)
- Categories collected: identifiers (e.g., email/IP), internet activity (e.g., browsing), approximate geolocation (from IP).
- Sources: you, your device/browser, service providers, affiliates.
- Business purposes: as listed in Sections 2–3.
- Retention: as in Section 4.
- Non-discrimination: We won’t discriminate for exercising your rights.
- Shine the Light: We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent.

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, data portability, and withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

Email privacy@wealthstack.us with your request and verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. Authorized agents may act on your behalf where permitted, with appropriate authorization.
11) Third-party services we use (examples)
We share information with service providers to run the site. Each provider has its own policy and compliance program. Examples include:
